Daily Activity ( Croissant D1 ) English

Halo guys!
Welcome back to my blog! It's been a long tima since the last time i wrote my blog, but anyway that's because i got holiday for a month. I'm actually trying to write any Travel Blog because that's also my hobby after cook.

Today is my first day of practic this year, new student year or my senior year or my final year of college. My final year of study culinary at Polytechnic of Tourism Makassar. Im trying to enjoy it and also Focus at little while.

Croissant, today i made croissant. Oh no, let me fix it. Im learning how to make croissant. I can't remember when is my last time made, i think a year ago or before Intership last year. But it's okay, no "late" for learn over again.


I will share the recipe of croissant in the next blog.
Let's start it.
First, i prepared the ingredients
The method of making croissant is straigh dough method,
Straight dough method is mix all dry ingredient in the same time. But, for croissant or any bread which use yeast and salt should do a little different method. Yeast and croissant couldn't be together in the same time, yeast will will dir because of salt.
Next,
Kneading the dough while add milk slowly, also if it already 3 or 5 min then you can add salt.
First rest for the dough before add croissant fat in chiller for 1 or 2 hours.
Roll the croissant fat till thin and then keep it in freezer so it could be stay freeze.

After 1 or 2hours, the dough will will become bigger. Roll the dough and prepare croissant fat then add to the dough. Roll it again and then make a simple single folding. Rest in the chiller. Do it 3times, roll - fold - chiller
Count the dough and make it triangle.
Last, roll it from the bottom to the top.
Give egg wash before bake to the oven for 350°f / 180°c and 25mins.
This the finally look after bake.
It's actually failed.
But its okay, learn from the mistake.
I can do it better tomorrow, hopefuly.
